We set out to raise $100,000 to build a playground in our community to honor the memory of our son, Aaron.
The playground was built in Southwest Park, part of the City of Mahtomedi, a Northern suburb of St. Paul, MN. It was made possible by the hard work and dedication of many community members and city officials.
Our vision was to build a large playground that could accommodate children of all ages and to create a joyful place for the community to come together. We chose to build a castle-theme to add a touch of fantasy and inspire young imaginations.
As well as a place of joy, we hope this playground helps to spread awareness about infant loss and the unyielding love that we have for our children.
