Official Playground Designs Revealed!

On Tuesday, June 16th the Mahtomedi City Council made our playground plans for Southwest Park official! The city will be purchasing playground equipment from Minnesota-based Flagship Recreation with the funds we raised, and they are pitching in an additional sum of money to make the memorial extra special.

We are excited to share the final designs with you!

The playground will include equipment for ages 2-12, with a castle theme bearing Aaron's name. There will be 4 slides, swings for young and old, a rock-climbing wall, and a zip line!

We are now working with the city to organize the details for a community build later this summer. We will share this information as soon as it becomes available!
